Meet Bennett | Lester Prairie Newborn Photographer

July 30, 2012

The moment Bennett entered the world, he was loved by one of the most amazing families I know. He joins his older two sisters, Sophie and Kaya, who shower him with kisses and love whenever they get the chance. Bennett’s mom and I used to work at Target together and she was an inspiration to me both personally and professionally. Enjoy these beautiful images from our in-home newborn session last month. 🙂

And my new favorite family session pose…. The Klitzkes, ladies and gentelmen.

Cuddly Cora ~ 8 Days New | At-Home Newborn Photographer

January 19, 2011

Little Miss Cora was so sweet during my photo session with her. She was wide awake the entire time and didn’t make a peep. She loved watching me and even was able to snuggle up in my new cocoon from Baby Hattitude. A little background on this sweet girl… she is the first child of a couple dear friends from college. She is a little miracle baby who held on for as long as she could before joining her parents in early December at just 5 pounds 3 ounces. She is happy and very healthy – we are all very thankful for that! My daughter and I just went up to visit her again this past weekend and she has grown a lot. We couldn’t get enough of her. Here are some of my favorite photos from the our photo session when she was just 8 days old.

Beautiful Allison | Studio Newborn Photographer

December 27, 2010

When Allison’s Mom called to book her newborn session, I jumped for joy! This beautiful baby girl joined a family that is near and dear to my heart. I worked with Allison’s Dad at Target for many years. I always called him my big brother even though I’m older than him. 🙂  When their first child was born, I gifted them an in-home photo session to capture the beauty that was their newborn son, Blake.  Here are some favorites from our photo session at the studio. Isn’t she a doll?  I couldn’t get enough of her and I hope you can’t either.

The Adorable Nadia + Family | Hopkins Newborn Photographer

September 28, 2010

I met Nadia’s mom when I worked at Target and always thought she was one of the coolest people.  That was until I worked with her!  Then I knew for sure she was one of the most wonderful people I would ever know.  Her vivaciousness and zest for life is so apparent to everyone who knows her.  Her family has grown quite a bit since I first met her (x2!) and I have loved watching her blossom into an amazing mother.  Her daughter, Nadia, was born in September and I simply couldn’t wait to take her newborn photos.  We gathered at the studio for the session and captured these (and many other) adorable photos.  Thank you, Deb and Owen, for asking me to capture photos of your beautiful family.

The hat Nadia is wearing is from Baby Hattitude.  Jessica, the owner and a dear friend of mine, does great work.  Go check it out!

A Walk in the Park | Maple Grove Family Photographer

May 23, 2010

The son shone bright at my photo session with the Belongia family last weekend.  We met in the late afternoon for a family photo session and 3-year photos of their beautiful daughter, Savannah.  I knew this photo session was going to be fun because this family is fun and Savannah is stunningly beautiful.

Savannah and I spent a lot of time just the two of us telling jokes and giggling about silly things.  She is quite the joke teller – if you ever meet her, as her about the one about the lizard crossing the road.  Savannah is very photogenic and for a 3-year old follows directions really well!

The Belongia family is about to grow!  I am excited to meet their baby boy and take his newborn photos as well.  Here are several favorites from our session at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, MN.

Baby Kara | Newborn Photographer

February 28, 2010

Baby Kara was only 10 days old when I had the opportunity to meet her. She is such a beautiful and precious girl!. I couldn’t resist snuggling with her before we started her newborn photo session. Her parents, Keith and Jamie, are dear life-long friends of mine – I was honored they wanted me to capture beautiful images of their first-born daughter. Kara was a champ through it all and was very cooperative with all of the clothing changes. Here are a few sneak peaks.
